I've recently finished a series of articles on Slovenia. What an amazing country to visit! Still underexplored and undervalued among tourists, but so much to see and photograph. Spent a week there last year and it was amazing.
Hallgrimskirkja, probably better known as "that church in Reykjavik". It's a pretty cool structure, I have to admit. I'm not normally a huge fan of modernistic takes on churches, but this one is just awesome.
It was less than two weeks ago that I boarded the plane going to Iceland. And yet, it feels like an eternity ago. This trip was like a separate life, and I'm still trying to make full sense of it. What I do know though, is that more than anything Iceland is about moments. Those precious moments that make all the endless driving, cold and expenses absolutely worth it.
I started the Lisbon series with the tile roofs, and so it makes sense to wrap it up with tile roofs. After all, this is a signature view in Lisbon. And while we're on the subject of bridges, here is another cool one in Lisbon - Vasco da Gama bridge. Quite a trip from the center, so mostly just photographers show up here early in the morning. Bit of a lucky shot. Didn't even think about the moon or plan for it. Just saw it rising right beneath the 25 April bridge, hurriedly put on the telephoto lens, set up the tripod and bam, made it just in time. Good times in Lisbon.⁠
