Somewhere in Schwarzwald. Sometime this winter, right before my camera went flying into the stream 😅. Bit of an expensive trip that was! Good thing I paid for that insurance. They repaired the camera but the lens was done for, so I got a brand new one. Lessons learned - insure your gear and watch them bloody tripod screws!
Misty mountains of Allgäu. Took this one over weekend - one of the last places to have snow around where I live.
A couple weeks back when we still had snow here in Schwarzwald. Sure looks like we gonna have to wait for another 10 months now for it to reappear.
Special photography gloves is such a cool idea! Got these a couple months back and I honestly couldn't be happier. Gone are the days of having to take off the glove to operate the camera. So if you shoot in winter and haven't heard of @vallerret yet, they're awesome. I have even written a review of the gloves over on my website in case you're interested (and no, I'm not associated with or paid by them to say it - I just like the gloves!)
Felt somewhat melancholic today, so I thought I'd post something appropriate. Taken a couple of months back on a particularly snowy day on Feldberg when you could only see a few meters ahead. I guess it is a bit like life - sometimes you just have to believe you're on the right path and keep going. A thought to contemplate during the weekend I guess.
Another Black Forest waterfall because, well it's Tuesday, and Tuesday is a waterfall day! Ok, I totally made that up, but its a nice picture nonetheless.
